Albert "Hank" Greenstone has enjoyed
a more than 50-year career in educational management.
Currently president emeritus of the National Center
for Professional Development, he serves on the
board of directors of Education Management Corporation,
one of the largest providers of proprietary post-secondary
education in the United States, including its
nationwide Art Institutes, Argosy University and
ITI Information Technology Institute.
Greenstone joined the company in 1970 as president
and chief executive officer of The National Center
Group, became a director in 1973 and has been
president emeritus since 1994. Prior to joining
the company, Greenstone served as field secretary
and executive director of Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity
for a total of 18 years.
He is a director of the Jewish Educational Loan
Fund and has held various positions with such
organizations as the College Fraternity Executives
Association, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations
and the American Jewish Committee. Greenstone
attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute before
serving in the Army at the conclusion of World
War II.
He completed his undergraduate work at the University
of Virginia and went on to earn his LL.B. from
the University of Georgia Law School in 1951.
He is a member of the International Bar Association
the American Bar Association, and the State Bar
of Georgia.
